Whilst we have provided double docking services for select projects since 2023, we are now able to offer it to all clients. Those who have utilised double docking with SSM have raved about its time and cost efficiency.

Expanded Capacity for Superior Service

SSM’s previous dry docking encapsulation reached 35 metres, meaning that we were unable to dry dock two vessels simultaneously. If a client needed two vessels dry docked, we would develop an alternative cost and time effective solution.

Recent upgrades have extended the encapsulation to 55 metres, allowing simultaneous dry docking for two vessels.

Time and cost benefits will reach all SSM clients. Even if you only have a single vessel ready for survey, we can pair you with another single vessel client. This not only reduces the time it takes for us to complete maintenance, but also reduces docking overheads.
